Fenix HM75R is a high quality Industrial head torch which features a powerful 1600 lumen main beam, 1000 lumen floodlight and 120 lumen red light in a compact magnesium alloy head unit, powered by a replaceable 3400 mAh, 18650 Li-ion battery.
A power extender containing a replaceable 5000mAh, 21700 Li-ion battery is included. This clips to the rear of the headband and can be used to add considerable run time to the headlamp, or top up its on board battery between sessions. A 1m extension cable adds versatility to the power extender, enabling it to be mounted to a belt or used in a pocket. The extender also functions as a 5000mAh power bank to charge your phone etc. Both the headlamp and power extender feature an inner waterproof USB-C charging socket with rubber cover.
HM75R is simple to operate, with a metal rotary switch for mode selection, and a central push button for brightness adjustment.
Please note that the above run times are a guide from the manufacturer and are generated by switching the headlamp on and letting it run without changing the brightness setting. The run times include power step downs due to headlamp heating and diminishing battery level. Changing the brightness setting can drastically affect these run times, particularly if the headlamp boosts back to a higher output.
Fenix HM75R headlamp features:
• Light weight magnesium construction. Excellent heat sinking for extended service life and superior performance at high output
• Dual switch operation, 1 x rotary switch + 1 x push button
• Battery level / charging indicator – 4 level indicator giving a clear reading of battery status
• USB-C charging ports with inner waterproofing. 4 hr charge time (front battery), 2.5 hrs (rear battery)
• Can use 2 x CR123 non rechargeable batteries as a back up power source (in the headlamp only)
• Built-in 50mm proximity distance sensor reduces output to prevent heat damage to headlamp and nearby objects (can be switched off)
• Breathable, detachable headband with reflective strips
• Tilt adjustable head for perfect beam alignment
• IP68 Rated - Dust and water proof. Submersible up to 2 metres for 4 hours
• 2m impact resistant
• Over temperature protection at 60c

Operation
Fenix HM75R operation:
Important notes:
In order to fully understand the operation of the power extender, please read the following:
The battery extender and internal headlamp battery operate as 2 individual power sources, they do not run at the same time.
The rear battery extender features 2 modes.
Mode 1 (Factory Default): Power the headlamp - and charge the headlamp internal battery if the headlamp is switched off. (no auto cut off at full charge) Mode 2: Charge the headlamp internal battery - and external devices with auto cut-off feature at full charge.
Battery extender operation - Mode 1: Headlamp power mode (default)
1. For best performance, maximum power efficiency and maximum run time, fully charge both batteries. 2. Switch on the headlamp, then tap the operating button on the power extender to activate it. 3. If using the highest outputs, brightness will gradually step down over time until it reaches 350 lumens on the main beam or 150 lumens on the flood beam. 4. The headlamp will run at this reduced level until the extender battery can no longer support it, then automatically switch to the front battery, maintaining the existing brightness level. 5. Once the headlamp switches to the front battery, all brightness levels will be available again for as long as the front battery and over heat protection sensor can allow. 6. After the rear battery can no longer support the top 2 brightness levels, you can manually make them available again by switching off the rear extender, which auto activates the front battery. 7. If you switch the headlamp off in Mode 1 while it is being powered by the rear power extender, remember to switch off the extender also, as otherwise, it will continue to charge the front battery. There is no auto cut off when the extender is charging the front battery in this mode, so once the front battery is fully charged, some energy will be wasted. 8. At any time, with the headlamp switched off, you can activate the rear extender to top up the front battery. Please remember to switch the extender off afterwards to conserve power.
This mode operates at a lower voltage and is designed to re charge external devices, or charge the front headlamp battery, whilst providing an auto cut off function, when the external device is fully charged.
1. To activate Mode 2, switch on the rear extender by tapping the power button, then hold down the button until it blinks red 8 times. 2. The extender will charge your device. 3. Once the auto cut off activates at full charge, the power extender will shut down. In order to re activate the power extender, unscrew the extender battery cap one turn and re tighten it. The extender will then re set to Mode 1 for normal headlamp operation. 3. Repeat operation note 1 if you need to charge another external device using the auto power cut off function.
Note:
If at any time a charged power extender cannot be switched on, it is likely in Mode 2. Simply unscrew the extender battery cap and re tighten it to return to Mode 1.
